Movie Story:
In Northeast India, many begin with Ido (Andrea Kevicusa) enduring racial abuse when police raid a pub. We will soon find out that she is an amateur boxer who has a dream of earning a place in the national team to play for India. On the other hand, her father Wangnow (Mifam Otsal) is a schoolteacher who secretly leads a rebel group called the Johnson’s Against Government Forces. There is also a young man, Nico, whose mother fears that he will join the Johnson group and die. Meanwhile, Joshua AKA Aman (Ayushman Khurana), an undercover detective working for the Indian Security Forces, was sent to the Northeast to get the Tiger community, one of the largest rebel groups, to sign a peace agreement with the Indian government. Movie Review:
The film actor Ayushman Khurana performed poorly as Joshua / Aman. The actor plays his part with honesty and determination and listens to some stern dialogues. Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra are as trustworthy as ever in their respective parts. It was a pleasure to see the Jedi Emperor on screen after so long. The rest of the cast, including Mifam Otsal, effectively removed their parts. Cinematographer Evan Mulligan has introduced you to the fascinating Northeast through his visuals.
Yasha Ranchandani’s editing scissors had to remove some unnecessary frames, which would have tightened the film. Sunidhi Chauhan’s Voice of Anek ‘featuring the rap is exciting to listen to. In one crucial scene, when Ido discovers the shocking truth about Joshua, she scolds him harshly, “What a waste!” Unlike his previous collaboration with Anubhav Sinha (Article 15), those words also summed up your frustration as Aayushman could not be a powerful voice in many of the Quran.
