DSP dev is a story of a dedicated police officer, Dev Shergill(Dev Kharoud) has always craved the job for the power it commanded. Due to his father’s death on duty eventually earns him the uniform he sought. His utter disregard for ethics makes him a favorite with corrupt politicians. Some of the incidents & a startling discovery regarding his father’s death force Dev to reconsider his principles & embark on a path of redemption.1st time Dev is playing the role of a police officer.
The audience has loved the film and impressed the acting of Dev Kharoud. Most of the viewers has given the movie a 5 out of 5 stars. His fans don’t miss this movie. Dev did his role justifiably. Manav Vij has really involved deep into his character. His dialogue delivery, his expression & aggression, delivering through his eyes his every detail were up to the mark. Nita Mohindra as Dev’s mother .she did a job well. What she endures through has been shown in her character. Mehreen did her job which was required of her. Action scenes were good but couldn’t leave a mark. The movie’s action didn’t leave a remark though. The movie is a bit slow also. Only Dev’s dialogues were good but the rest of the dialogues weren’t impactful. In the 2nd half, it was action sequences which were done in 1 take. You will get thrilled, suspense & a message through all of Dev’s films though the movie looks a little stretched. The movie cinematography is good.
