The teaser of the ZEE5 film Forensic, starring Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte in the lead roles, is out. The movie, a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, is a psychological thriller. Helmed by Vishal Furia, it also stars Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh and Rohit Roy.
The teaser opens with a harrowed Megha Sharma (Apte), a police officer in Mussoorie, asking her subordinate what has happened. She informed that a girl has been murdered. Soon, she joined by forensic officer Johnny Khanna, played by Massey, in her investigation. During their investigation, the officers realise that many girls have gone missing and their bodies are later found in Mussoorie.

Movie Story
Forensic is a taut thriller with twists that will surprise and facts that will shock the viewers. With accomplished actors Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte at the top of their game and with amazing producers Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla and Deepak Mukut, I have managed to give my best to ensure a thrilling ride throughout. Set in Mussoorie, the film follow Apte’s and Massey’s characters as they attempt to track down a killer who murders young girls on their birthdays. While initial evidence and forensic data point to the killer being a young child aged 10 to 12 years. The trailer shows the leads doubting their initial theories as they uncover more information.
Radhika plays a cop in Forensic while Vikrant plays a forensic officer. Together, they solve complex cases and their on-screen chemistry has been one of the most appreciated aspects of the film’s trailer. But Radhika also had praise for her co-star’s off-screen behavior. She said, Off screen, Vikrant is really quiet, he likes reading and is very interested in lots of different ideas and topics. It was really nice to actually be with him on set.

Review
Forensic experts are so underrated, and I am glad that for the first time in Bollywood, we have a movie with a forensic expert in the lead. Just like a good script is incomplete without a good director, I believe a criminal case is incomplete without a good forensic expert and I hope that we are able to do justice to this profession via the movie. He called the film an “exciting, edge-of-the-seat crime thriller with shocking twists and turns.
Radhika Apte has never been afraid of expressing herself. She’s bold both on and off-screen, but she’s not all fiery and feisty all the time. Tapping into the soft side of her personality, Radhika revealed the reason why she said yes to her latest OTT project and no, it wasn’t the great idea or writing. It was her co-star, Vikrant Massey.
