Master is a Tamil action thriller film. Master movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj while produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators. The movie casting Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the leading roles while Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah is the female lead, and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, play supporting roles. The music is composed by the young super-talent music director Anirudh Ravichander. Actually, the movie was released in 2020 April, but delay to the covid -19 pandemic time, it was postponed. After the lockdown period, the Master movie is release on Pongal special on January 13, 2021.

The movie will be released in 3 languages Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Master film will become the first major pan Indian release of 2021. In this movie, Vijay appeared as a college professor, and Vijay Sethupathi is played the antagonist. Both will have a back story that will be inter-connected to each other.
The makers recently clarified several times that the movie won’t skip its theatrical release and make it to any OTT platform. A couple of months ago, Master was offered a Rs 125 crore deal by Amazon Prime for an exclusive release.
The Tamil Nadu government newly reopened theatres and allowed 50% seating capacity to the fans by the physical distancing norms after complete lockdown due to the spread of coronavirus.
Vijay met the CM and asked the CM to allow 100% seating capacity at the theaters. In a personal meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, the actor along with the movie’s team requested the Chief Minister increase the seating capacity as against the current capacity of 50% seating at theaters.
