Padmaavat’s director expertise in heightening opulence and grandeur is well-known, further distinguishable in 3D. Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee compliments him by beautifully capturing some jaw-dropping scenery. However, the effects in the action/ war scenes don’t meet the expectations raised by a film of this scale
Bajirao Mastani is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s big budget and one of his best movie so far. Being a true story, Bajirao Mastani shows some great moment from the time of Mughals and Maratha Warrior. Also, having the most expensive set, the cinematography of the movie is at its best. The battle scenes in Bajirao Mastani sis hot well and give a more realistic feeling. The VFX, on the other hand, makes the movie look rich. Ranveer Singh does give justice to his character Bajirao and Deepika to Mastani. The first half of the movie will feel a bit off, but later the 2nd Half of the movie is outstanding. Overall, Bajirao Mastani is a great movie that you should watch.
