Prithviraj is an upcoming Hindi-language historical action-oriented film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty. The film stars Akshay Kumar performing as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut playing the role of Sanyogita. While the film also stars Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, and Sakshi Tanwar in other important roles.

Production Company Yash Raj Films released the motion poster on 8 Sept 2019 and announced that the movie will premiere during Diwali in the year 2021 but COVID-19 the movie team postponed their plan. After that Prithiviraj’s movie team announces the film was all ready to release 3rd of Jun 2022 on big screens.
