Rajinikanth’s Jailer movie Nelson is an action drama directed by Dilip Kumar and written by K.S. Ravi Kumar. The film stars superstar Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles, while Malayalam actors Mohanlal, Yogi Babu, Siva Rajkumar, Marna, etc. play other important roles.
Cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan and editing by R Nirmal. Anirudh Ravichander composed music and background music for the film. The film is produced by Kalanidhi Maran through his own production company Sun Pictures.
Jailer, like an action drama, depicts a syndicate conspiring to free their heads from prison, but the jailer foils their efforts by working for other criminals. The film first opened to the public in February 2022 with the catchphrase Leader 169. Then in June, the title was made public, and it was Jailer.

The shooting started on August 22 in Chennai. Jailer will hit the theaters on April 14, 2023. It is said that the parts involving Rajinikanth and Siva Rajkumar are planned to be shot in the current schedule, which will be a shorter schedule after the Rajasthan schedule.
Rajinikanth performs some stylish stunts in ‘Jailery’ and the stunt sequences are choreographed by Stun Siva. As the shooting of ‘Jailor’ is nearing its final stage, the crew is expected to go to Kerala or Hyderabad for the next schedule.
