Directed by KS and produced under the banner of Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, the script for the upcoming Telugu film Stuartpuram Donga has been penned by the Vennelakanti brothers. The music for the action drama was composed by Mani Sharma, with Shyam K Naidu handling the cinematography and the film’s editing Thammiraju. The film features Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the lead role, with other starring actors from the film yet to be announced. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas stars as the notorious thief, Nageswara Rao from Stuartpuram. It can be seen in a fierce stare in the film.
Stuartpuram Donga Land
The film is a biopic about “Tiger” Nageswara Rao, a 1970s thief who manages to escape from Chennai prison, after which he was known as Tiger. He was remembered for his clever ways of evading the police.
In 1987, after escaping from prison, he was finally killed by the police. His photograph is believed to still hang outside his house in Stuartpuram and tourists visit the place to see it.
On the work front, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is working on a Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Chatrapathi and is set to make her Bollywood debut. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film also stars Sahil Vaid, Rajendra Gupta, Mohammad Monajir, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Auroshika Dey, Amit Nair, Shivam Patil, Vedika, and Jason.
Stuartpuram Donga Release Date
Even though the movie was supposed to release earlier this year, the release was delayed due to the ongoing movie. Now, the makers of the film have announced a new release date of April 14, 2023.
